Bard vs ChatGPT is the battle people have talked about since Google Bard’s release.

Want to know which AI is better?

Short answer: It depends.

Long answer: šŸ‘‡

Read this article to learn the key differences between Bard and ChatGPT and which AI is better for specific use cases.

ChatGPT vs Bard: Quick Overview

ChatGPT and Bard are artificial intelligence chatbots that leverage machine learning and natural language processing to understand and generate human-like responses.

ChatGPT was developed by OpenAI and is based on the Generative Pre-trained Transformer 4 (GPT-4) model.

For starters, you can leverage ChatGPT to generate short paragraphs, summaries, and text-based answers. It’s trained on a dataset of text and code from the internet, pre-September 2021.

Whereas Bard, created by Google, is powered by the Pathways Language Model (PaLM 2) model.

It’s designed for you to have interactive conversations and access the internet to provide up-to-date responses.

On a broader level, the difference between ChatGPT and Bard lies in their data and design philosophy.

ChatGPT is more text-oriented, whereas Bard is conversation-oriented with real-time data access, making it more current in its responses.

Here’s a table of a broader level of differentiation between the two conversational AIs.

What is ChatGPT?

ChatGPT is a chatbot that can have human-like conversations with you. It’s powered by AI, which means the more people use it, the better it gets over time. You can use ChatGPT to generate content, educate yourself, solve business problems, and more.

Imagine a friend who knows everything and can talk to you about anything. That’s basically what ChatGPT is.

During ChatGPT’s launch, OpenAI revealed that it’s a sibling model to InstructGPT, which is trained to follow instructions in a prompt and provide a detailed response.

This means that the working of ChatGPT is simple. You ask AI questions (prompts), and it will answer.

The ā€˜GPT’ in ChatGPT stands for Generative Pre-trained Transformer, a type of large language model (LLM) trained on a massive dataset of text and code.

So, when you ask ChatGPT any question, it leverages GPT to generate a response that is both informative and relevant.

What is Bard?

Bard is a large language model (LLM) chatbot developed by Google AI, based initially on the LaMDA family of large language models and later PaLM.

It’s trained on a massive dataset of text and code. In one of its blogs, Google mentioned that PaLM ā€˜demonstrates improved capabilities in logic, common sense reasoning, and mathematics.’

Unlike ChatGPT, you don’t need any plugin to browse the web with Bard; the feature is built in.

As for the pricing, Bard has no paid plans; anyone can use it for free.

You can use Bard as your personal assistant and ask it to guide you with work or personal tasks like email generation, asking for gift ideas, or brainstorming ideas for a certain topic.

Now that you know a little about ChatGPT and Bard, let’s see how they differ.

What are the Main Differences Between Google Bard and ChatGPT?

Main differences vs Bard and ChatGPT will be around:

 • User interface
 • Web browsing ability
 • Functionality
 • Chat sharing capabilities
 • Integrations
 • Use cases
 • Data storage and privacy

#1. Bard vs ChatGPT: User Interface

Here are some common interface features that both Bard and ChatGPT offer:

 • Saving chats: Both platforms automatically save chats and show them in the left sidebar with a title for every conversation.
 • Reply format: The formatting of replies for both platforms is almost the same. They apply basic formatting like bolding important text and inserting headings wherever needed.
 • Quick action: Bard and ChatGPT let you copy answers to the clipboard, like/dislike the replies, or regenerate the answer with a single click.

The only big difference in their interface is editing the answer.

With ChatGPT, you can’t edit the answer directly after it’s generated. The most you can do is regenerate the answer to get a new one.

But that’s not the case with Bard.

Apart from regeneration, Bard lets you make the answer:

 • Shorter
 • Longer
 • Simpler
 • More casual
 • More professional

Bard also generates multiple drafts from the prompt you ask without clicking on regenerate.

When it comes to interface, ChatGPT and Bard are more or less the same, but Bard has a slight edge.

šŸ† Winner: Bard

#2. Bard vs ChatGPT: Web Browsing

Both Bard and ChatGPT let you browse the web. But Bard lets you do it for free, whereas you must be a ChatGPT Plus subscriber to browse the web on ChatGPT.

Another point of difference is that Bard lets you browse Google, whereas ChatGPT allows you to browse Bing unless you install a plugin from its plugin store to search on Google.

To know which AI is better at web browsing, I gave them the same prompt and tested it for accuracy.

Here’s the prompt I used:

Goal: Give me a summary of the company – Asana.

Context: Here are the details I want:

 • A brief overview of the company’s history and founding details.
 • Primary products, services, or solutions they offer.
 • Current leadership team and key stakeholders.
 • Recent news, product launches, and noteworthy events related to the company.
 • Any identified challenges or pain points they might be facing currently.
 • Their top competitors and their positioning in the industry.

The answer Bard gave me was decent overall. In a matter of seconds, it gave me everything I asked for:

Chat link: https://g.co/bard/share/6eb6303e518c

ChatGPT took its own sweet time, but the answer was far better than Bard’s.

Chat link: https://chat.openai.com/share/4fd130bf-0b9e-4c2c-8716-b9e7b4aaf646

How was the answer better? While most of the information was almost the same for both the chatbots, one question made all the difference.

ChatGPT gave me a great answer to the question: ā€˜Any identified challenges or pain points they might be facing currently.’

Whereas Google Bard’s answer was more generic:

šŸ‘€ Note: ChatGPT has a time limit to browse Bing for each prompt. When the time’s up, ChatGPT will stop the research and ask you whether it should continue.

When it comes to research, accuracy is more important than time.

šŸ† Winner: ChatGPT

#3. Bard vs ChatGPT: Functionality

If you’re a ChatGPT Plus member, the AI lets you attach an image of a document and helps analyze it.

After the recent update, you don’t need to switch between ChatGPT variations. It can analyze data, generate images, and browse the web all in one place.

Talking about Bard, it can help you analyze images but can’t generate one. As far as analyzing documents is concerned, you can do it indirectly.

What do I mean?

First: You can simply copy and paste the PDF content into Bard, tell it that it’s PDF content you want to analyze, and ask your questions.

Second: You can create a public link to your PDF or any other document, insert the link into Bard, and ask it to analyze the document. But the process is time-consuming.

I’d say it’s a tie between the two here. Although Bard doesn’t let you generate images, it still lets you analyze documents and images for free. And ChatGPT Plus is paid.

šŸ¤ It’s a tie

#4. Bard vs ChatGPT: Sharing Chats

ChatGPT lets you share chat by generating a link. You can change the title of the chat, byline the chat in your name, or leave it anonymous.

Bard also lets you share chats. It lets you choose if you want to share just a specific prompt or the entire chat, generates an AI title, and creates a public link to share.

You can share the chat on LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and Reddit.

šŸ‘€ Note: Earlier, Bard had the functionality to share chats on Google Docs and other Google Suite platforms, but it has now removed it.

Both conversational AI bots are equally capable of sharing chats.

šŸ¤ It’s a tie.

#5. Bard vs ChatGPT: Integrations

ā— Spoiler alert: ChatGPT is a clear winner here.

OpenAI launched ChatGPT as a chatbot, but the updates they rolled out over time made it much stronger.

With the ChatGPT Plus subscription, you get access to 1000+ integrations (plugins) to connect with ChatGPT and do almost anything.

These plugins let you chat with your PDFs, compile and run code, draw diagrams, and more.

Apart from this, ChatGPT integrates with Microsoft Bing for web browsing and DALL.E-3 for generating AI images.

But wait, there’s more. Last week at Dev Day, OpenAI announced some out-of-the-world updates planned for ChatGPT, starting with the GPT-4 turbo.

The GPT-4 turbo will have a limit of 128K tokens. That’s a 16X increase from the current 32K token limit. Sam Atlan (CEO of OpenAI) also announced that the GPT-4 turbo would be cheaper than the current GPT-4 version.

Also, OpenAI will soon come with its own AI app store.

Lastly, in a few weeks, you will be able to create custom versions of ChatGPT (OpenAI calls it GPTs) that combine instructions, extra knowledge, and any combination of skills.

Here’s how Ruben Hassid explains it wonderfully through a LinkedIn post.

Google Bard has no such feature; it only integrates with the Google Search engine but has no plugins.

šŸ† Winner: ChatGPT

#6. Bard vs ChatGPT: Use Cases

Google built Bard to give you real-time access to information. The AI can access and process information from the web in real time and provide you with up-to-date and comprehensive responses.

For example, Bard is better than ChatGPT for prompts like:

 • What is the distance in miles between California and Arizona?
 • What is the population of California?

Bard gave me one-liners and precise numbers, whereas ChatGPT took a lot of time and gave me multiple answers, which confused me.

Now, let’s talk about the use cases for which you should use ChatGPT instead of Bard.

When you want to generate content, ChatGPT is the better AI.

It can help you create first drafts for blogs, marketing copies, and social media posts.

šŸ† Winner:

 • For research and current affairs, Bard
 • For creative writing, ChatGPT

Here’s how you can write articles in about 3 minutes inside of Team-GPT with ChatGPTalongside your team:

#7. Bard vs ChatGPT: Data Storage and Privacy

ChatGPT stores all prompts and queries entered, regardless of topic or subject. You can review the conversation wherever you want, but remember, ChatGPT also reviews them to improve the AI.

You can select and delete specific conversations, but if you do it with the purpose of not letting ChatGPT know about it, you might not be able to do it.

As soon as ChatGPT gives you an answer for the entered prompt, the platform might extract the chat and include it in the large language model for its training.

So, if privacy is your top priority, ChatGPT isn’t a chatbot I’d recommend.

In that case, you can rely on Google’s Bard. Bard stores conversation for up to 18 months by default, but you can change it to three or 36 months from the Bard activity settings tab.

šŸ† Winner: Bard

Bard vs ChatGPT: Which One’s Better for a Specific Use Case?

We have seen the technical differences between Bard and ChatGPT.

There are a wide range of use cases you can use AI for, but I will only be discussing three major ones.

Let’s try to understand which AI is better for – brainstorming ideas, summarizing content, and analyzing data.

Use Case #1. Brainstorming Title Ideas

Both Bard and ChatGPT can brainstorm title ideas. In this case, I am testing them to brainstorm title ideas for a blog post.

I gave each AI the same prompt with a primary keyword and a little context to the article.

Prompt:

Persona: Act as a seasoned blog post writer.

Goal: Generate ten unique title ideas for my blog post to target the primary keyword – sales enablement software.

Context: The target audiences are founders and SDRs who want to learn sales enablement and use software to carry out the process.

Bard’s output:

ChatGPT’s output:

I further asked both chatbots to optimize these titles for SEO. Here’s how I did it:

Prompt:

[insert a title optimization guide]

Use the above guide and optimize the title ideas you gave me.

ChatGPT was better at optimizing blog titles than Bard.

You can open the chat links below and see the complete conversation.

ChatGPT: https://chat.openai.com/share/cb69182d-bfff-435e-affd-e0480284b499

Use Case #2. Summarizing Content

When you don’t have the time to go through a long blog post, asking ChatGPT or Bard to summarize it could save you time. Leverage this use case for research purposes.

Prompt:

Please summarize the article: [insert the article link]

Bard’s output:

ChatGPT’s output:

I felt that Bard’s output was shot, crisp, and to the point.

Use Case #3. Analyzing Data

I wanted to analyze some data in a table. To do it with Bard, I copied and pasted the table data and asked for analysis.

It analyzed the data quickly, but there were some flaws. For example, Bard told me – ā€˜The most common occupation is engineer, followed by teacher and designer.’ But the table just has one entry from each profession. Meaning there were no common professions.

For ChatGPT, I simply uploaded the PDF that had the table and asked the AI for analysis.

ChatGPT didn’t give me any incorrect information but didn’t analyze the table comprehensively, so I had to ask follow-up questions to know more.

You can learn about those by visiting the chat links later in the section.

For the follow-up prompt – ChatGPT gave me the correct answer for all the questions:

While Bard gave me just one correct answer:

Google Bard vs ChatGPT: Which one is better?

The truth is that there’s no one winner in the Google Bard vs ChatGPT battle. Your best bet would be to use ChatGPT and Bard in tandem.

ChatGPT is often good at creating content or analyzing data, whereas Bard is good at researching content and giving answers to current affairs.

However, one thing to note is that ChatGPT’s free version can’t do much. It can only help you create content.

The ChatGPT Plus subscription costs you $20 per month but opens the door to several new opportunities. You can analyze data, use thousands of plugins, generate and analyze images, and more.

If we talk about Bard, it’s free for all. But it doesn’t come with plugins or the power to analyze data directly from a PDF or any other document. However, you can still browse Google and analyze images with Bard.

If we talk about the drawbacks, both Bard and ChatGPT have the same issue. They are prone to generating plausible-sounding but inaccurate responses (also known as hallucinations).

So, which AI is better depends on the use case you’re using AI for.

]]>
Before we start, here’s a quick disclaimer: we’re interested in ChatGPT pricing for a specific reason. We have created a great ChatGPT alternative – Team-GPT.

It’s not only designed to be more affordable than ChatGPT, but it is also easier to use and make AI adoption easier.

In this article, we explain each plan that ChatGPT offers and why Team-GPT helps you adopt AI better than ChatGPT.

ChatGPT’s Pricing Plan

ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence chatbot Open AI created that uses large language models (LLMs) to have text-based conversations with you. It can understand natural language (English and some other languages too).

You can ask the AI any questions you have, and it provides helpful answers and explanations on almost any known topic.

The chatbot has a free version that uses GPT-3.5, but it’s not as smart as GPT-4 (the paid version) and lacks several crucial features (more on this later).

ChatGPT has a free plan and three paid plans to choose from:

 • Plus: $20 per month
 • Team: $25 per person per month
 • Enterprise: Contact sales

Let’s go into the details of each plan and understand what they offer:

1. ChatGPT Free Plan

ChatGPT’s free plan gives you access to GPT-3.5. It’s designed to understand and generate natural language text based on the inputs it receives.

All the conversations you carry out with GPT-3.5 will be 100% text-based.

It’s comparatively faster than the other model of GPT Open AI launched, but the major drawback of GPT-3.5 is that its training was cut off in September 2021. Meaning that it can’t answer questions related to events that happened after September 2021.

One good thing about the GPT-3.5 model is that it gives you unlimited messaging (no limits per hour) and lets you save chat history.

We’d suggest you use GPT-3.5 for pretty basic everyday tasks like summarization, language translation, etc.

You can use it on the web, iOS, and Android.

Drawbacks

1. Limited Memory and Context

GPT-3.5 is capable of accessing and remembering only 3,000 words (4096 tokens). This means it quickly forgets what was said earlier, or worse, it can lose track of important context.

2. Limited Reasoning and Common Sense

While the GPT-3.5 model is good at generating fluent text, it has less sophisticated reasoning and common sense capabilities compared to humans. The model is prone to logical inconsistencies and generates text that sounds reasonable but is factually incorrect.

3. Heavily Dependent on Trained Data

As GPT-3.5 can’t browse the web, it’s heavily dependent on the data it has been trained on. This can unintentionally generate biased, toxic, or harmful language.

2. ChatGPT Plus Plan

The ChatGPT Plus plan gives you a ton of new premium features that the free plan doesn’t.

Here’s everything you can do with the AI when you pay $20 per month:

 • With ChatGPT Plus, you get to browse the web (Bing). The AI gives you all the citations in the answer to refer to for accuracy.
 • ChatGPT Plus integrates with Dall-E to generate AI images. You can simply describe the kind of image you want via text, and the AI will generate an image for you in seconds.
 • You can upload data to ChatGPT with the Plus plan. The chatbot allows you to upload data in the form of CSV, PDF, image, and several other formats. You can then ask ChatGPT to analyze the data and get answers to all the questions you have.
 • GPT store, launched by Open AI recently, is a marketplace to help you find useful and popular custom versions of ChatGPT. The users themselves create these custom GPTs, and recently, Open AI launched a marketplace and made them public. Either use the existing ones or create your own GPT with a ChatGPT Plus subscription.

Drawbacks

1. Slow Browsing

When compared to its competitor, Bard, ChatGPT is slow at browsing the web. It also sometimes deals with the issue of network error and fails to give you answers to questions you ask.

2. Usage Limitations

While the free plan has no usage limits, ChatGPT Plus has a limit of 40 messages every 3 hours. But this isn’t the worst part; people unaware of these limitations don’t come to know about it until they buy the plan. ChatGPT hasn’t been very transparent about this limitation.

3. ChatGPT Team Plan

ChatGPT Team includes everything that the Plus plan gives you and more:

 • Gives you access to GPT-4 with a 32K context window.
 • Tools like DALLĀ·E 3, GPT-4 with Vision, Browsing, Advanced Data Analysis—with higher message caps.
 • Open AI promises not to store any of the data you share with ChatGPT. Such isn’t the case with the free and Plus plan.
 • Create and share custom GPTs with your workspace.
 • Admin console for workspace and team management.
 • Early access to new features and improvements.

4. ChatGPT Enterprise

In the late August of 2023, Open AI launched the ChatGPT Enterprise plan. The Enterprise subscription is designed for businesses that need security and privacy when using AI.

Here are the features you get with the Enterprise plan:

 • Any data you share with ChatGPT is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+), and the software is SOC 2 compliant.
 • Comes with an admin console to track the number of conversations, users online, messages exchanged, and more.
 • Gives you unlimited, high-speed access to GPT-4 and is capable of performing advanced data analysis.
 • Lets you share work templates with your team.
 • Offers 128K token context window, 4x bigger than the ChatGPT Plus plan.
 • Get dedicated onboarding assistance, priority support, and ongoing account management.

Is ChatGPT the Best Way To Adopt AI?

Short answer: No, ChatGPT isn’t the best way to adopt AI.

Long answer šŸ‘‡

ChatGPT lacks two main parts that are needed for AI adoption – Onboarding and Education.

šŸ‘€ Note: Onboarding is only a part of the ChatGPT Enterprise Plan, but it still lacks the education bit.

If you’re a free, Plus, or Team user – The platform lacks any structured tools or protocols to integrate your company’s existing data infrastructure, workflows, and systems. Without proper onboarding, there’s no easy way to feed ChatGPT relevant business data so it can provide informed, customized responses.

There’s also no transparency from ChatGPT on what data it has been trained on. Businesses have sensitive information and trade secrets, so they require clarity on where the AI’s knowledge comes from before deployment.

What’s more, ChatGPT sometimes makes inappropriate recommendations, which can be dangerous. Companies need safe onboarding processes like building whitelists, configuring usage thresholds, and monitoring tools.

The second major flaw is the lack of educational resources to explain AI adoption to businesses. There are no embedded ChatGPT education materials for businesses that tell them about the best practices.

Lastly, there’s no feedback channel that businesses can use to reach out to ChatGPT and tell them about the potential improvements.

These two issues and many others are resolved with Team-GPT! šŸ‘‡

How is Team-GPT Different than ChatGPT

Team-GPT is a platform that lets you talk to ChatGPT together with your team. It’s a better way to onboard, educate, and adapt AI for businesses.

Here are the three key differences that make Team-GPT a better AI adopter platform:

1. Proper Education for AI Adoption

When you sign up for any of the plans of Team-GPT, you get free access to the ChatGPT for Work course. It’s a course built to explain how AI can help your business grow.

The course comes with 100+ tried and tested prompts, 100+ exercises, extra notes and comments, and handy PDFs for the most useful prompts for different business operations.

It’s an interactive course, meaning you get to practice AI adoption while taking the course. You can do that on Team-GPT or ChatGPT; the choice is yours to make.

The Team-GPT website also has a guide on the ChatGPT adoption methodology that explains to you how organizations and corporations should adopt AI the right way.

2. Team-GPT Enterprise

Team-GPT recently launched its Enterprise plan that lets your organization adopt AI in a better and more secure way.

Here are the features that make Team-GPT Enterprise better than ChatGPT for AI adoption:

 • Lets you engage in conversations together with AI. Your team can learn from how other team members are conversing with AI and use their chats to do things better and faster.
 • Lets you make folders for different teams and fill them with favorite chats your team has had with AI. This helps you refer to past chats in a much more organized manner.
 • Choose the model that suits your unique work best. Team-GPT gives you the option to switch between ChatGPT, Google Bard, Microsoft Azure, LLaMa, or even a custom one.

3. Built Specifically for Teams

Team-GPT focuses on making AI actually a part of your team and has features that help you leverage AI in business operations together.

It lets you track your team’s AI adoption rates with the help of a dashboard showing you how each team member is conversing with the AI.

You can add specific instructions for your entire workspace so the AI response is adapted to your specific business needs in every chat.

What’s more, switch to view-only mode when sharing sensitive data so your team doesn’t accidentally edit a chat.

Lastly, you can easily import your ChatGPT chat history directly into Team-GPT in seconds.

Sounds exciting? Sign up for our free plan, try the platform out with a team member, and see if Team-GPT is the right fit for you.

2023 has been a major breakthrough in the AI space, all thanks to ChatGPT.

With ChatGPT, people are now able to have much better conversations with AI, analyze data to some extent, generate images, and do much more.

In this article, we will take a deep dive into the ChatGPT Plus subscription model of Open AI. What it is, is it worth buying, and talk about all the features the subscription offers.

What is ChatGPT Plus?

ChatGPT Plus is an upgraded subscription-based version of ChatGPT by OpenAI. The interface of both the Plus and free versions is the same, but ChatGPT Plus is smarter, faster, and better.Ā

That’s because ChatGPT Plus gives you access to GPT-4 – an updated and upgraded ChatGPT version. Whereas the free plan lets you use GPT-3.5 turbo.

By launching ChatGPT Plus, Open AI has made a significant advancement in the AI world, making AI adoption more reliable, efficient, and versatile.

Is ChatGPT Plus Worth It?

Short answer: Yes, it’s worth buying.

Long answer šŸ‘‡

The ChatGPT Plus version will cost you $20 per month, but it’s definitely worth trying out.

It gives you access to ChatGPT even during peak times. Meaning that you will be able to use ChatGPT uninterrupted. On the other hand, the free version may face unavailability during peak times.

When compared to the free version, the Plus version has faster response times. Also, another problem with the free version is that it can be even slower when the server load is high, which will waste your time.

ChatGPT Plus subscribers also get priority access to new features and updates that Open AI rolls out regularly.

There are several other features that you get with a ChatGPT Plus subscription that we will talk about later in the article.

How to Get a ChatGPT Plus Subscription

Step 1. If you already have a ChatGPT free account, click the ā€˜Upgrade plan’ button from the left side menu.

Step 2. Select the Plus plan from the options presented.

Step 3. Complete the payment process, and your free ChatGPT account is now ChatGPT Plus.

šŸ’” Pro tip: To get the most out of your ChatGPT Plus subscription, you must enable the Beta functions.

To do so, click on your Profile > Click ā€˜Settings & Beta’ > In the settings window, click ā€˜Beta Features’ > Switch it on.

What are the Best Features of ChatGPT Plus?

Open AI has rolled out several features for the ChatGPT Plus version. Here’s what you can expect when you subscribe to Plus. šŸ‘‡

1. Browse the Web

The free version of ChatGPT (GPT-3.5 Turbo) is only trained on information up to September 2021. So, it won’t let you access real-time data or browse the internet.

But with ChatGPT Plus, you can now search the web for your answers. GPT-4 is trained on data up to April 2023.

It also lets you browse Bing for answers.

Whenever GPT-4 browses the web, it gives you all the citations with clickable links so you can double-check the information.

But let’s talk a little bit about the downside of this feature: ChatGPT Plus is also susceptible to AI hallucinations.

Meaning that it might give you answers after browsing the web with citations, but they might not be 100% accurate.

You must double-check all the facts and statistics-related information manually.

2. Analyze Data

With ChatGPT Plus, you can now upload images, PDFs, or CSV files and ask it to analyze the document for you.

This feature allows you to save time and reduce manual analysis.

When you upload a spreadsheet or CSV on GPT-4, it can help you with operations like summarizing data, performing statistical analysis, generating insights, etc.

For text documents, it can help you with summarizing content, translating text, checking grammar, or extracting specific information from a large chunk of text. This use case especially helps when you want to analyze customer interviews or reviews.

When it comes to images, ChatGPT Plus can describe, analyze, and even use them as a basis for generating a new image (more on this later).

The data analysis feature of ChatGPT is also capable of visualizing data. Here’s a graph it gave me when I asked it to generate a bar graph for the PDF I uploaded.

But there are some limitations to this feature that you must know:

 • There are restrictions on the type of files ChatGPT Plus can process and their sizes.
 • ChatGPT Plus can be wrong when analyzing highly complex or specialized data.
 • You must almost always double-check the results that ChatGPT gives you.
 • Users need to be cautious about uploading sensitive or private data on ChatGPT.

3. AI-Generated Images

The DALL-E feature integrated into ChatGPT-4 is an AI-based image generation tool. DALL-E generates images based on text descriptions.

These descriptions can be simple, straightforward requests like – ā€˜Generate an image of a red apple on a table’ or a more complex, imaginative concept like – ā€˜Generate an image of a futuristic cityscape with flying cars.’

šŸ‘ Remember, the more detailed the descriptions, the more accurately DALL-E can attempt to generate the image you have in mind.

DALL-E can handle a wide range of creative requests. It can generate artwork, realistic images, and visualize abstract concepts and images with a specific artistic style in mind.

Despite its versatility, DALL-E has certain limitations and ethical guidelines. You can’t prompt it to generate images that are explicit, violent, or inappropriate.

Moreover, the tool respects artistic integrity and copyright, so it won’t replicate the specific style of artists or generate images of copyrighted characters.

To use image generation with ChatGPT Plus, you must guide DALL-E comprehensively. The precision and creativity of your description will significantly influence the outcome of the generated images.

4. GPTs

GPT store, launched by Open AI recently, is a marketplace to help you find useful and popular custom versions of ChatGPT.

The users themselves create these custom GPTs, and recently, Open AI launched a marketplace and made them public.

You can browse popular and trending GPTs on the community leaderboard with categories like:

 • DALLĀ·E
 • Writing
 • Productivity
 • Research & Analysis
 • Programming
 • Education
 • Lifestyle

Another effective use case of GPTs is that you can build one on your own. You can train GPT based on the data you have, name it, and use it at your convenience.

What are the Limitations of ChatGPT’s Paid version?

Although ChatGPT Plus is far superior to the free version, it still has certain limitations.

1. Usage Limitations

From the very beginning, ChatGPT has usage limits. The ChatGPT Plus version currently has a usage limit of 40 messages every 3 hours.

But, having a usage limit is a small disadvantage. When we searched public forums and social media, we found that Open AI hasn’t been transparent enough to tell users that ChatGPT Plus has time-related limitations.

Source

The reviewer said he had no idea about the usage limits until he bought the Plus subscription.

Another concern is about tracking how many prompts you have asked ChatGPT. There’s no way to tell you the number of questions you’ve asked ChatGPT at any given time.

Manually counting the prompts every time you work with AI will decrease your productivity.

2. Comparatively Slow Web Browsing

When compared to competitors like Google Bard, ChatGPT Plus’ browsing speed is pretty slow. The major reason, we think, is because ChatGPT browses the web via Bing, and Brad leverages Google.

3. Data Analysis Is Too Basic

Let’s face it; you can’t expect ChatGPT Plus to carry out complex calculations or calculate everything with accuracy.

When we use it to analyze large datasets, ChatGPT Plus often gives us wrong calculations, which are then corrected manually. Also, for time-consuming calculations, GPT-4 often runs into network errors.

Conclusion

Time to address the elephant in the room – Is a ChatGPT Plus subscription worth buying? If you use ChatGPT daily, we’d say it’s definitely worth buying.

The Plus version is faster, smarter, and better than the free version. It gives you the ability to browse the web, upload documents, and ask AI questions. It also comes with thousands of plugins that enable you to do almost anything with AI.

But remember, ChatGPT Plus also has limitations. The best way to leverage artificial intelligence is to treat it as a help and not a replacement.

Also, the main reason for using AI in customer service is because it can handle and answer almost 80% of customer queries and cut down customer service costs by 30%.

Investment in AI R&D

#11. Global AI Investment

According to Goldman Sachs economists Joseph Briggs and Devesh Kodn, global AI investments are expected to reach $200 billion by 2025.

Although these investments are upfront, they may take time to show returns, as potential gains rely on factors like adoption and efficiency improvements.

“AI-related investment is climbing from a relatively low starting point and will likely take a few years to have a major impact on the economy,” according to Briggs and Kodnani.

#12. Private Sector AI Investment

Source

The private sector investments in AI dropped from $93.5 billion in 2021 to $91.9 billion in 2022. The United States and China are the two primary investment sources among the rest of the world countries.

Also, the $1.6 billion dip in private sector AI investments (last year) could be the result of US-based private companies shrinking their investments from $52.88 billion to 47.4 billion in 2022.

However, with 158 billion USD expected in 2025 for AI investment, we can expect steady growth in private investments from here on and upward without any bottlenecks.

#13. Public Sector AI Investment

Public sector investment in AI is relatively small, but it’s growing. The National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence (NSCAI) committed 40 billion USD to expand and democratize federal AI R&D in America.

The commitment was made with two core objectives.

First, NSCAI considered it to be a modest down payment on future AI breakthroughs. Second, the investment was to cope with advancing AI technologies in rival countries.

To sum up, the US government aims to accomplish the following via this investment by 2025:

 • Building secure digital infrastructure across the nation
 • Shared cloud computing access
 • Smart cities to truly leverage AI for the benefit of all Americans

Certainly, NSCAI investment in AI is the first step by the US to defend, compete, and win in the AI era. Standing next to the US are China and Europe.

While the Chinese government is supporting AI R&D via subsidies and government guidance funds, the European Union is also showing deep interest in AI technology.

For the next EU budget (2021-2027), the authorities have proposed investing at least 7 billion euros (1 billion euros per year) in AI from Horizon Europe and the Digital Europe Programme.

According to the CSET August 2023 report, countries are investing in one another’s AI businesses and research projects, especially top AI investors like China and the US.

Over the past decade, Chinese AI investments have been majorly focused on the American market.

To our surprise, the sum of funds transferred from investors in China to AI companies in the United States has far surpassed any other investment around the world ~ $4,029 million.

Among the Quad countries, the United States has the most decisive AI investment ties to China. Meanwhile, Australia, India, and Japan each have more AI investment activity with China than they do with one another.

Although China is actively participating in global AI investments, the United States still stands as the primary source of AI-related FDI investments in 2022, with some 285 projects.

Meanwhile, India remains the leading destination for AI-related FDI projects in 2022, with multinational companies such as ABB, Accenture, Deloitte, IBM, and Microsoft announcing investments in India.

#15. AI Investment Impact

According to PwC’s Global AI Analysis Report 2023, AI investments are estimated to make a ground-breaking economic impact of $15.3 trillion by 2030

Of these $15.3 trillion, China and North America gained 70% of the global economic impact, equivalent to a total of $10.7 trillion. In comparison, the rest of the world shares the other 30% of gains.

#16. AI Adoption and Growth

Businesses are finding ways to implement AI to automate and streamline processes. As per Forbes, businesses are using AI across a wide range of areas, with the highest adoption rate in customer service (56%) and cybersecurity (51%).

Global spending on AI-centric systems is expected to reach 154 billion USD in 2023, up by 26.9% from 2022.

The United States is on track to become the largest AI system investment balloon, contributing over 50% of global AI spending.

However, Western Europe, which represents about 20% of the spending, will experience the fastest growth, with a CAGR of 30% over the next five years.

#17. Ethical Concerns and AI Bias

A notable concern for business owners using AI is the machine’s hallucinations that can risk delivering misinformation to businesses or their customers.

Forbes study revealed that 30% of respondents are concerned about misinformation, while 28% fear bias in AI-generated outputs.

Source

In 2022, we witnessed 110 AI-related legal cases in the United States alone. The numbers are roughly seven times more than in 2016.

The majority of these cases concerned issues relating to civil, intellectual property, and contract law.

Besides, lawmakers are stepping in to regulate and control the use of AI.

Here’s how things are shaping out:

 • Stanford University’s 2023 AI Index shows 37 AI-related bills were passed into law globally in 2022. The US led the cause by passing nine laws, followed by Spain with five and the Philippines with four.
 • According to the World Economic Forum report, The European Commission proposed draft rules for an AI Act nearly two years ago.
 • A group of EU lawmakers working on AI legislation is calling for a global summit to find ways to control the development of advanced AI systems.
 • The European Data Protection Board has set up a task force on ChatGPT as a first step towards possible regulation of privacy around AI.

Consumer Attitudes Towards AI

#19. Market Interests

The market interest in AI has increased a lot over the years. The share of companies mentioning AI has gone up from 5.74% in 2020 to 16.63% in 2023.

According to Statista, almost half of the adults in the United States showed interest in artificial intelligence (AI) powered online search products, among other AI-related products.

#21. Positive and Negative Customer Sentiments Towards AI

A report from Business Wire suggests that 73% of consumers believe AI has a positive impact on their lives and how they interact with brands.

Roughly all generations agree they’d be willing to engage with AI if it would solve problems faster; however, the report also suggested that 45% of respondents expressed a lack of understanding of how these technologies are implemented.

The report boils down to the fact that customers are willing to engage with AI, but they surely need better transparency into how the systems work and how they use consumer data.

Environmental Impact of AI

The datasets used to train large AI models are enormous and require a significant amount of electricity to run.

According to research by the University of Massachusetts, training an AI model can require electricity up to 656,347 kWh

Most importantly, the same training produces about 626,155 pounds of carbon dioxide.

The emission is 300x more than a round-trip flight between New York and San Francisco – nearly 5x the lifetime emissions of the average car.

Key Takeaways

In my experience, the use of generative AI will keep growing. Popular systems like DALL-E 2, Stable Diffusion, and Midjourney will upgrade to produce incredibly detailed images from a text prompt in a matter of seconds.

Businesses will integrate AI into their business operations and treat it like a team member, and solopreneurs can make it their virtual assistant.

And lastly, AI will redefine how businesses talk to their customers. With AI doing the heavy lifting and humans monitoring it and personalizing responses, AI will make customer service lightning-fast and improve customer experience for all businesses worldwide.

ChatGPT Usage Statistics

Since its launch in November 2022, ChatGPT has onboarded a massive user base. Let’s break down the usage statistics over time.

#1. Number of Users Over Time

ChatGPT entered the market with a bang. It surpassed the 1 million users mark within five days of launch. It reached 100 million monthly users in January, two months after its launch.

As of August 2023, ChatGPT has over 180.5 million users, representing an ~80.5% increase over the eight months.

The only app to reach one million users faster than ChatGPT was Threads.

Source

#2. Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Active Users

Open AI CEO Sam Altman announced that over one hundred million people are using ChatGPT on a weekly basis.

According to Similar Web, ChatGPT entertained over 192.7 million unique website visitors in the last month (October 2023), and an estimated 31.57 million unique users were using ChatGPT daily in November 2023.

However, the daily active users took a dip from 31.57 to 24.21 million during the last week of November because of all the shenanigans OpenAI went through.

#3. Geographic Distribution of Users

Of the total ChatGPT users, 11.6% reside in the United States, 8.8% in India, and 6.1% in Indonesia. Other significant user bases include Japan (4.39%) and the Philippines (3.6%).

Similar Web

If combined, the top five countries account for about one-third (34.8%) of all ChatGPT users, with the rest of the world making up 65.2%.

#4. Demographic Distribution of Users

About 44.9% of ChatGPT users are Female, while 55.1% are Male. With 25-34 year olds being the most engaged users of the platform.

Interaction and Engagement Statistics

#5. Average Page Visits Per User

The average number of pages per visit per user stands at 6.04. This means an ideal ChatGPT user visited close to 6 pages in a single visit (also known as a session) to the website during October 2023.

šŸ‘€ Note: This data excluded single-page visits to keep stats more accurate and reliable.

For perspective, the industry benchmarks for average page views per user are between 1.7 and 4.0 pages per session.

#6. Average Session Duration

According to Similar Web, the average time spent by users on ChatGPT during November 2023 is 7 minutes and 31 seconds, which is a 4-second increase (0.82%) from last month.

#7. Most Common Types of Queries or Tasks

According to Statista, the most common tasks or queries that employees in the US complete using ChatGPT include:

 • Writing or debugging codes (66%)
 • Content creation (58%)
 • Customer support (57%)
 • Create meeting summaries or docs (52%)
 • Research (45%)
 • Generate lists (45%)
 • Other (3%)

However, there’s no cap on the types of queries or tasks that users can accomplish through ChatGPT. Not until it’s against OpenAI’s policies.

🤯 Interesting: ChatGPT answered the Medical Licensing Exams similar to the level of a third-year medical student, with an accuracy of around 60% for the most difficult set of questions.

Put simply, the use cases of the AI chatbot are widespread across users’ needs. And with the introduction of ChatGPT Plus, the capabilities are mind-boggling (more on this later)

#8. User Retention Rates

No official figures are available, as OpenAI, the creators of ChatGPT, is not a publicly traded company, so we cannot expect to receive regular updates on user numbers, such as those provided by Google.

However, if we look at other data sources, a site like Similarweb estimates that:

“ChatGPT clocked 1.7 billion visits during October 2023 with a bounce rate of 31.48%.”

ChatGPT Updates In 2023

ChatGPT has gone through several updates and improvements throughout 2023. Here are some significant ChatGPT updates from this year. šŸ‘‡

#9. Introduction of ‘Turbo’

February 9, 2023, marked the launch of ChatGPT Plus, a paid and faster version of ChatGPT, known as ‘GPT-4 Turbo.’

ChatGPT Plus is available for $20/month. Subscribing to which you can receive several benefits:

 • Access to ChatGPT’s latest version – GPT-4

 • More Creativity

However, OpenAI capped the usage of GPT-4 based on demand. It was later increased to 50 every 3 hours on 19th July of the same year.

#11. Web Browsing Capabilities and Plugins

The May update from OpenAI was another feature in the cap for ChatGPT Plus users. It came with beta features such as real-time web browsing capabilities and Plugins for third-party integrations.

These updates played a significant role in bringing ChatGPT back to the AI race against Google’s Bard and other competitors.

The same month, OpenAI introduced the Bing plugin that allowed Bing users to integrate AI into browsing.

#12. Languages Support

On September 2023, ChatGPT was made available in a limited selection of languages, including:

 • Chinese (zh-Hans)
 • Chinese (zh-TW)
 • French (fr-FR)
 • German (de-DE)
 • Italian (it-IT)
 • Japanese (ja-JP)
 • Portuguese (pt-BR)
 • Russian (ru-RU)
 • Spanish (es-ES)

If you’ve configured your browser to use one of these supported languages, you’ll see a banner in ChatGPT that enables you to switch your language settings.

#13. Voice and Image Capabilities

In September, ChatGPT rolled out voice and image capabilities. This allows users to have a voice conversation or show ChatGPT what you’re talking about.

For example, have a look at this prompt on ChatGPT-4.

GPT-4 Statistics

#14. Number of Users

Since OpenAI has yet to share the number of paid users, I made an intelligent guess by researching through surveys.

According to a survey of developers on Feb 6th, over half of those polled (54.4%) said that they would not pay anything to use ChatGPT. A significantly smaller 12.53% said they’d pay monthly, while 4% said they would pay per usage.

Put simply, multiple surveys revealed that ChatGPT paying subscribers make up less than 1% of its users.

ChatGPT has more paying subscribers than Twitter Blue as of March 1, 2023.

#15. Number of Parameters

Contrary to some rumors, GPT-4 does not have 100 trillion parameters. Sam Altman has debunked this, stating that the true size is a secret.

However, Y Combinator news suggests that GPT-4 has eight different models, each with 220 billion parameters.

#16. Incorrect Behavior Rate

Compared to GPT-3, OpenAI has decreased GPT-4 tendency to respond to sensitive requests for disallowed content by 82%. Keeping the platform 82% safer. 😊

Source

Performance Statistics

#17. Response Accuracy

GPT-4 substantially improves over previous models in the ability to follow user intent.

OpenAI researched a dataset of 5,214 prompts submitted to ChatGPT and the OpenAI API. As a result, the responses generated by GPT-4 were preferred over the responses generated by GPT -3.5 on 70.2% of the prompts.

For a comprehensive perspective, here’s how accurate GPT-3, 3.5, and 4 models are based on Open AI’s Internal Factual eval by category.

#18. Long-Output Accuracy

One area of concern for GPT-3 is its tendency to lose track of the conversation as the dialogue goes on.

GPT-3 had about 2049 tokens, which were increased to about 4096 tokens (or about 3000 words of English text) in GPT-3.5.

Compared to these, GPT-4 has 8192 tokens, a variant they called GPT-4-8K. Another variant called GPT-4-32K has a context length of 32,768 tokens (equivalent to about 50 pages of text).

Conclusively, Chat-GPT 4 has 40% more accuracy in generating long responses without hallucinating.

#19. Test Performance

ChatGPT was tested on a variety of benchmarks, including simulating exams that were originally designed for humans.

The GPT-4 model outperformed GPT-3 and GPT-3.5 language models, achieving > 80% percentile in over 10+ exams.

OpenAI also evaluated ChatGPT models on traditional benchmarks designed for machine learning models. And the results are worth a look.

Economic Impact and Business Use

#20. How Businesses Are Using ChatGPT

92% of Fortune 500 companies use ChatGPT in their business operations in one way or another.

Let’s check out some real-world examples of how businesses are leveraging AI to their benefit.

Travel and Tourism

Expedia, a popular travel-planning platform, has integrated ChatGPT into its services to enable users to book and plan trips in a conversational manner.

#21. Impact on Productivity and Cost Savings

A February 2023 survey of American business leaders found that around a quarter of the companies had saved between 50 and 70 thousand U.S. dollars by using ChatGPT.

Additionally, 11 percent of business leaders stated having saved more than 100 Thousand USD since introducing ChatGPT to their workflow.

#22. Emerging Markets and Industries Adopting ChatGPT.

According to Wordfinder, The three sectors most likely to use ChatGPT with their employer’s knowledge were:

 • Marketing: 76%
 • Education: 70%
 • Healthcare: 58%

In contrast, the employees most likely to do so without their employer’s knowledge were those working in business services, construction, and tech.

Ethical and Societal Considerations

#23. Discussions Around Bias and Fairness

ChatGPT is trained around a vast amount of data already available on the internet. Hence, it can absorb and propagate biases present in its training data.

According to ScienceDirect, ChatGPT has several biases like gender, race, culture, language, ideological, sentimental, and others.

But this doesn’t mean ChatGPT is entirely biased in generating responses. It does give a fresh perspective to your thoughts; however, it might generate manipulative responses at times.

#24. Privacy and Data Security Statistics

Not many know, but OpenAI became a victim of a data breach in the early months of 2023.

To be exact, the breach happened during a nine-hour window on March 20, between 1 am and 10 am Pacific time.

According to OpenAI, the breach impacted approximately 1.2% of the ChatGPT Plus subscribers who were active during this period.

Although OpenAI resolved the issue promptly, if it had not done so, it would have sparked outrage among users.

JPMorgan Chase, for example, has put some limits on employees using ChatGPT due to concerns surrounding the security of financial information if entered into the chatbot.

Italy’s privacy watchdog cited the data privacy of its citizens for its decision to temporarily block the application across the country as well as questioning OpenAI’s use of personal data to train the chatbot.

šŸ‘€ Note: China, Russia, and 15 other countries have banned using the AI chatbot in the country.

#25. Societal Impact and Concerns

The possible usage of ChatGPT for cyber crimes has caused outrage among IT professionals. According to Statista, here’s what IT professionals across selected countries feel about ChatGPT assistance in elevating cyber crimes.

Key Takeaways

That was all about the major ChatGPT statistics in 2023. We hope the blog covered everything you needed.

Here are some future predictions related to ChatGPT:

 • ChatGPT is projected to have over 1 billion users by 2025.
 • ChatGPT is expected to have a significant impact on the job market. Some experts believe that ChatGPT could automate many jobs that humans currently perform. However, others believe that ChatGPT will create new jobs that require skills in AI and machine learning.
 • A study by Gartner predicts that ChatGPT will be used by over 80% of enterprises for customer service and marketing automation by 2025

ChatGPT Plugins are one of the best assets for ChatGPT users; no one can deny that. But the sea of plugins is vast. There are thousands of them for you to choose from, and the choice might mostly overwhelm you.

That’s why I have come up with the 15 best ChatGPT plugins that I’ve used and found beneficial.

In this article, we will talk about these ChatGPT plugins and explore their capabilities.

Where to Find the Best ChatGPT Plugins?

You can download the ChatGPT plugins from its interface.

But first things first – you must subscribe to ChatGPT Plus to access these plugins. It will cost you $20 per month.

Want to see a step-by-step guide? Read ahead.

When you visit ChatGPT, go to the Settings tab > Beta features > Enable Plugins.

Click ChatGPT 4 to open a drop-down, and then click Plugins.

ChatGPT will open its plugin store tab that looks like this.

šŸ‘‡

If you click All, you can see hundreds of pages filled with third-party plugins to choose from.

You can search the plugin category or name you want to install and press Install to get it.

šŸ‘€ Note: While several plugins are free, some might need you to create an account. ChatGPT also has paid plugins, so ensure that you have an account and payment in place before using the plugins.

Time to see some of these plugins in action!

What are the Best ChatGPT Plugins?

To simplify the guide, I have segregated the ChatGPT plugins into five major categories, which are:

 • Plugins that boost your productivity
 • Plugins to help you with research and content
 • Plugins for developers and coders
 • Plugins for creative assistance
 • Plugins for personal use

Let’s look at each category one by one.

Category #1. ChatGPT Plugins for Boosting Productivity

The best part about ChatGPT plugins is that they can help you automate several tasks and boost your productivity. So, in this category, I have three plugins:

 1. Prompt Perfect: Converts your weak prompts into strong prompts
 2. Zapier: Automate tasks and boost productivity
 3. Taskade: For setting goals and visualizing them

#1. Prompt Perfect

PromptPerfect, as the name suggests, lets you develop, debug, and deploy optimized perfect prompts for GPT-4.

The plugin is a must-have if you’re a prompt engineer, content creator, or AI developer.

After enabling the Prompt Perfect plugin, type ā€˜perfect’ before any prompt you give ChatGPT for it to work.

Here’s how it works:

Chat link: https://chat.openai.com/share/af7f246d-f829-43ad-b57c-b22d465b4fe5

What I asked ChatGPT was a generic prompt without giving it any context.

Prompt Perfect helped me give context to ChatGPT: ā€˜Your story should encompass the various aspects of the journey, including the setting, characters, and events, in a manner that is both precise and comprehensive.’

#2. Zapier

With the Zapier ChatGPT plugin, you can connect to 5,000+ apps like Google Sheets, Gmail, and Slack, interact with ChatGPT, and automate several tasks.

It saves you the time and hassle of switching between different tools.

This plugin is powered by Zapier’s new Natural Language Actions API, which enables AI models like ChatGPT to use simple natural language to complete actions in other apps.

You can ask ChatGPT to get answers to any of the 50,000 actions the Zapier plugin can do. From writing an email to finding contact information in a CRM, this plugin can do it all.

There are several use cases for which I used Zapier. Here’s one of them in action. šŸ‘‡

šŸ‘€ Note: Before prompting ChatGPT to do a specific task via Zapier, you must create a Zap on your Zapier account.

Prompt:

Research 5 blog post title ideas to write a blog on in the niche – email deliverability. Save them in a new Google Sheet. Name the sheet: Email Deliverability Blog Topic Ideas.

Chat link: https://chat.openai.com/share/9a9358ce-8cbd-4d50-a44b-9c8056ca3462

ChatGPT will first create a sheet, and to finalize the process, it will ask you to Review and Confirm sheet creation.

You can edit or finalize the sheet by clicking on ā€˜Run.’ You can now open the Google Sheets page and check if the action is complete.

#3. Taskade

The Taskade plugin on ChatGPT allows you to create, manage, and track tasks directly within the ChatGPT interface.

With this plugin, you can organize tasks into projects, set deadlines, and prioritize them, ensuring you stay on top of your workload.

By leveraging Taskade, ChatGPT can help you generate task lists, draft outlines, or brainstorm ideas.

What’s more, if you’re working in a team, Taskade allows for collaborative editing and updating tasks. Team members can add comments, mark tasks as complete, and update project status, which helps keep everyone on the same page.

Prompt:

Give me a mind map for the business goals of a B2B SaaS company that sells a task management app.

Chat link: https://chat.openai.com/share/41a2b872-83fc-4ba5-a4d5-1d18f63658ce

When I clicked the direct link to view the map, it took me to my Taskade dashboard.

Category #2. ChatGPT Plugins for Help with Research and Content

The majority of people out there use ChatGPT for research and content generation, so here are some plugins you can leverage to enhance the process.

#1. Web Request

GPT-4 can access Bing by default, but what if you want to extract information from Google? That’s where Web Request comes in.

Web Request is a web browsing plugin that allows ChatGPT to fetch real-time information from Google. You can get news, weather updates, stock market trends, etc.

The plugin lets ChatGPT gather and synthesize information from a wide range of sources that can help you with your research process.

Here’s the plugin in action:

Prompt:

Goal: Please conduct thorough research on the latest trends in digital marketing for small businesses.

Context: I’m interested in understanding the following aspects:

 1. Current Digital Marketing Trends:
 • What are the most effective digital marketing strategies small businesses adopt in 2023?
 • How has the digital marketing landscape changed in the last year, especially considering the impact of AI and machine learning technologies?
 1. Social Media Marketing:
 • Which social media platforms are currently most beneficial for small businesses and why?
 • Are there any emerging platforms that are gaining popularity among small business marketers?
 1. Content Marketing:
 • What types of content (blogs, videos, podcasts, etc.) are most effective for small businesses?
 • How are small businesses leveraging content marketing to improve their SEO and online presence?

For each of these points, please provide a summary of your findings along with links to the sources. If possible, include statistics, graphs, or infographics to support the data.

#2. SEO Blog Writer

The SEO Blog Writer plugin by Quick Creator can help you write long-form SEO-optimized blog posts. But that’s just not it; besides writing blog posts, it can also help you incorporate keywords into your article.

One major advantage of using a tool for writing blog posts is that the process is time-efficient. Instead of spending hours, you can get a post from AI within minutes.

But remember – no AI can write as a human expert can. So, you will compromise on quality when using AI.

Prompt:

Write for me a 2000-word blog post targeting the keyword: sales enablement.

The article’s title will be – The Ultimate Guide to Sales Enablement.

Cover aspects like sales enablement, the benefits of leveraging sales enablement, sales enablement best practices, and more.

Keep the tone authoritative and write in first person (use I and you).

Use a mix of paragraphs (keep the short 3-4 lines max) and bullets (wherever necessary).

I liked the plugin because it gave me a featured image along with the article.

#3. SEO Core AI

The SEO Core AI plugin can help analyze any blog post or webpage for on-page or SEO in general.

I first analyzed one of our blogs with this plugin:

Prompt:

Analyze the blog for on-page SEO and suggest changes: https://team-gpt.com/blog/chatgpt-prompts-for-writing/

Chat link: https://chat.openai.com/share/6b21ef0c-74b9-4692-a54a-7ea4891783b8

All in all, it gave me everything right, and as I asked, it also included the changes I needed to make to the page.

Later, I also analyzed a website with it. You can read about it in the chat link.

Category #3. ChatGPT Plugins for Developers and Coders

With ChatGPT plugins, developers and coders can leverage them to ask for course recommendations, develop basic HTML web pages, or understand specific concepts.

#1. Codecademy

With Codeacademeny, you can access a vast educational tech and coding resource database to help you in your learning journey.

The plugin has access to Codecademy’s course catalog, which you can access for free and find courses related to coding.

But that’s not it.

You can also enable the plugin and ask it to quickly look up documentation or anything technical, such as documentation of a Python code.

You can learn more about Codeacademy’s plugin for ChatGPT by reading the guide on Codeacademy’s website: Now You Can Use ChatGPT to Discover Codecademy Courses.

Time to see the plugin in action:

Prompt:

I am interested in learning How to code in Python. Can you suggest some courses for me?

Chat link: https://chat.openai.com/share/90ae51fa-0c68-4184-8763-cf6d328bfa96

#2. WebDev

With WebDev, you can use ChatGPT to generate HTML pages. The plugin can help you construct a functional website in minutes.

You can instantly preview the page and ask ChatGPT to change the code or personalize it better. All this can be done by just typing in what you want.

Prompt:

Using the plugin, generate a homepage where people can buy Football match tickets. Apart from the obvious text fields, insert a promo code field where people can type a promo code and get a discount.

Chat link: https://chat.openai.com/share/d4983d72-2162-4fcf-a754-d8425f5bc06f

Click on the link to open the preview of the page.

#3. Code Library Help

The Code Library Help plugin is designed to assist with questions related to specific Python libraries and SDKs.

It can search for relevant sections of code and documentation from a range of supported libraries.

For example, if you have a question about a particular Python library (e.g., numpy, pandas, requests), you can ask for information or examples from that library.

The plugin can search the library’s documentation and codebase for relevant information.

Prompt:

I need a code snippet showing how to create a pivot table in pandas.

Chat link: https://chat.openai.com/share/dbf13417-6a83-4b63-b065-cf2008d2dbbe

Category #4. ChatGPT Plugins for Creative Assistance

GPT-4, with the integration of plugins, can help you become more creative.

Here’s how šŸ‘‡

#1. AI Diagrams

ChatGPT can use the AI Diagrams plugin to generate diagrams based on your prompt.

Complex ideas or data sets are often easier to understand when presented visually. The AI Diagram plugin can help create flowcharts, mind maps, wireframes, and other visual elements that make comprehension and communication more effective.

The plugin is beneficial, especially for teams, product managers, or software developers who need visual representation to understand complex frameworks.

Prompt:

Goal: Create a flowchart outlining the key operations and processes of a B2B SaaS brand.

Context: The flowchart should cover the following:

 • Market analysis and strategy development
 • Product development
 • Sales and marketing
 • Customer support and success
 • Operations management
 • Growth and scaling

Each process must have three sub-steps on how to execute it.

FYI – My brand sells Task management apps to small and mid-sized businesses.

Chat link: https://chat.openai.com/share/1146b9bf-6d26-4562-8ad7-676cb75291c1

#2. ImageSearch

Need an image relevant to a blog post you wrote? Use the ImageSearch plugin. The plugin has access to Unsplash and recommends images as per blog content.

Although it gives you stock images, it’s a good starting point to add images and publish fast. You can edit these images later with more personalized ones.

Prompt:

[insert your blog post]

Can you recommend images for the above blog?

Chat link: https://chat.openai.com/share/83f222f6-4811-4815-b517-f53673decfa5

#3. Smart Slides

Smart Slides lets you create presentations by describing what you want in them. You can enable the plugin and instruct ChatGPT to make presentations by writing instructions in simple English.

Prompt:

Please create a presentation on ‘The Future of Renewable Energy.’ The presentation should include the following slides:

Slide 1: Title Slide: ‘The Future of Renewable Energy’

Slide 2: Agenda: Overview of topics covered in the presentation.

Slide 3: Current State of Renewable Energy: Key statistics and global trends.

Slide 4: Emerging Technologies: Innovations and new technologies in renewable energy.

Slide 5: Challenges: Major obstacles in adopting and implementing renewable energy.

Slide 6: Environmental Impact: The benefits of renewable energy on the environment.

Slide 7: Conclusion: Summary of the main points discussed.

Use a modern, clean design with a green and blue color scheme, and include relevant images and graphics where appropriate.

Chat link: https://chat.openai.com/share/cb0b1118-ff52-4f82-a3d4-f02c33bacbc7

The plugin converted the text to slides in a matter of seconds.

I think using Smart Slides is a good start and can save you the hassle of customization and personalization required when creating slides manually.

Category #5. ChatGPT Plugins for Personal Use

Lastly, ChatGPT plugins are not only about business. You can use them for your personal chores as well.

#1. Expedia

Expedia’s integration with ChatGPT lets you search for flight tickets and hotels worldwide. The plugin already has an existing database that it can scan through when you ask a question.

Prompt:

Can you give me the names of some of the best budget hotels for a seven-night stay in Paris?

Chat link: https://chat.openai.com/share/37e20f73-fc7c-4919-a362-7f6e8f4b0797

#2. KAYAK

ChatGPT utilizes KAYAK’s travel search capabilities to find flights, hotels, car rentals, and more based on the location of your preference and real-time data.

You can give ChatGPT details like budget, dates, and destinations, and the AI can retrieve and display data to you in seconds.

What’s more, you can also use KAYAK to compare prices in real-time across different airlines, hotels, and rental services that can help you reduce expenses.

Prompt:

Can you compare the price of flight tickets from California to Bangkok and tell me which is the cheapest? I prefer flying business class. I am planning to fly on the 27th of November, 2023. The upper cap on my budget is $3200.

Chat link: https://chat.openai.com/share/cb4a2d58-2fde-4ee3-9122-f8061cf542b7

#3. One Word Domains

One Word Domains does just what it says. It gives you the available domain names for your next big idea.

You can give it all the details about the company and product. One Word Domains will then study it and show you the best possible one-word domain name ideas available in the current market.

Prompt:

Get me available domains for a SaaS company in the content marketing niche. I have an AI tool to help writers create comprehensive outlines and briefs.

The post 10 Best Alternatives to ChatGPT You Must Try [2024] appeared first on Team-GPT.

]]>
Some of the best ChatGPT alternatives in today’s market are Team-GPT, Microsoft Bing, Google Bard, Perplexity.ai, ChatSonic, AskCodi, HuggingChat, Pi AI, Poe, and YouChat.

In this article, I talk about the major reasons why you need ChatGPT alternatives and then go through a wide range of ChatGPT alternatives one by one.

Why Do You Need a ChatGPT Alternative?

Reason 1: High Learning Curve to Get Good Answers

One major drawback of ChatGPT is that you must learn how to write good prompts to get accurate results.

Writing and firing generic prompts like – Write a LinkedIn post on social media marketing will give you a very generic answer.

To get a more optimal answer, you must set guard rails and make the prompt more specific, like – Write a LinkedIn post on ā€˜How to market my SaaS on Social Media.’ Don’t make the post too long; ~200 words. Use simple English to write the post. Add bullets and emojis wherever necessary – ChatGPT does a much better job answering such specific prompts.

Reason 2: Responses Can Be Repetitive

ChatGPT struggles to generate high-quality results, especially when coming up with a long piece of content. You may often find the content redundant – repeated phrases, paraphrased sentences, lack of depth, etc.

So writing a blog post or an academic paper with ChatGPT isn’t a good idea.

Top 10 ChatGPT Alternatives

Here are the 10 ChatGPT alternatives that will help you overcome the drawbacks I just told you about šŸ‘‡

#1. Team-GPT

In plain English, Team-GPT lets you share a ChatGPT account with your teammates. The platform helps you onboard your team on a single ChatGPT account so that you and your team can talk to the AI simultaneously.

Features

 • Reduce clutter and organize knowledge: Customize your chats, arrange them in folders and subfolders, and reduce clutter.
 • Learn how to use ChatGPT: Learn to use ChatGPT along with your team. Team-GPT offers their trial-and-tested conversation starter to help kick things off. It also has 100+ ready-to-use prompt templates.
 • Measure AI adoption rate: Gain invaluable insights into your team’s adoption rate and engagement level with ChatGPT. To keep things competitive, Team-GPT gives you the ranking of top users in your team and more such insights.

Pricing

Team-GPT has a free plan where you can onboard one team member for free (OpenAI usage costs applicable).

But if you want to onboard more team members, the pricing starts at $20 per month for 10 users and goes all the way up to $200 per month for 100 users.

The platform also offers a 30-day money back guarantee.

#2. Microsoft Bing

Microsoft Bing got an upgrade and now has an AI-powered search engine. The platform is powered by Open AI’s GPT-4 and is now faster, better, and more versatile in its use cases.

šŸ’”Pro tip: Use Microsoft Edge to explore the endless capabilities of Bing AI-powered copilot.

Bing AI in action šŸ‘‡

Key Features

 • New Bing chat has near real-time access to the web, allowing you to browse the web with ChatGPT.
 • Switch between the Search and Chat tabs to see traditional and AI results.
 • With Bing, you can create and compose blog outlines, emails, paragraphs of text, and more.
 • Use Bing Image Creator to generate artificial intelligence images with DALL-E-powered ‘text-to-image’ conversion models from the chat.

Pros and Cons

āœ… Good at delivering creative answers or composing things from scratch.

āœ… Brownie points for the AI image creator; I loved it.

āœ… Unlike ChatGPT, Bing AI cites sources of every answer presented.

āŒ Microsoft makes it clear that the AI chatbot can sometimes hallucinate.

āŒ To use all the features of Bing AI, you must download Microsoft Edge.

Pricing

Microsoft Bing AI is a free tool for 1,0000 transactions. But if you want more than 1,000 transactions, it costs you according to instances and transactions per second.

#3. Google Bard

Bard is Google’s answer to ChatGPT. It’s an experimental AI conversational service that’s powered by LAMDA (Language Model for Dialogue Applications).

PS. I liked Bard’s interface better than ChatGPT.

Bard in action šŸ‘‡

Key Features

 • Uses LAMDA-powered NLP models that are much better at understanding commands in natural language.
 • Generates multiple responses for every question asked so you always have options to choose the best.
 • Double-check Bard AI’s results by clicking the Google icon at the bottom of each response. Google will link to sources you can visit and rectify the answer.
 • Offers extensions to diversify AI capabilities into Google Workspace and other apps; uses Bard to summarize emails, ask for tutorial videos and directions, book hotels, and more.

Pros and Cons

āœ… Can extend AI capabilities across Google’s app ecosystem via extensions.

āœ… Comes with advanced OCR technology that allows users to get answers from uploaded images.

āœ… It supports voice search – automatically converting speech to text and vice versa.

āœ… Bard has made fact-checking easy with citations and one-click Google double-check response features.

āŒ Comparably slower in generating responses (personal experience).

Pricing

Google Brad is in its experimental phase; you can ask unlimited questions for free.

#4. Perplexity.ai

Perplexity is an AI-powered search engine that works on real-time data and answers queries like a Google search. Yet, unlike Google, you don’t need to enter keywords or open multiple links to get the perfect answer.

Perplexity.ai in action šŸ‘‡

Key Features

 • Real-time access to the web allows it to answer any query – from World War I to recent events.
 • If you don’t like a response, Perplexity offers three different AI models to rewrite responses — Copilot (default), GPT- 4, and Claude-2.
 • Use the Focus feature to limit AI search to a specific source – Academic, Writing, Wolfram (computational intelligence), YouTube, Reddit, or from anywhere online.
 • Talk to your documents or image files by uploading them to the platform; ask questions and get answers for everything in the file.
 • Get citations and sources linked to every response; predictive AI recommends follow-up prompts to speed up the search.

Pros and Cons

āœ… It’s easy to turn a search into a conversation with follow-up prompts.

āœ… Gives options to group chat threads into collections and share conversations via links.

āœ… API access for open-source LLMs is available (but only with the paid version).

āŒ The free version is quite limited.

Pricing

Perplexity is a free AI search engine. However, the free plan has file upload limits, locked AI models, and other bottlenecks.

It has two plans to choose from:

 • Monthly plan: $20 per month. Comes with unlimited file upload and more Copilot uses.
 • Yearly plan: $200 per month. Unlocks Claude-2 and GPT-4 to answer questions and gives you API access.

#5. Chatsonic

Chatsonic was recommended to me by a colleague who used the parent tool Writesonic to draft articles.

After using the tool, I realized Chatsonic is a powerful AI conversational chatbot that addresses many of the ChatGPT’s limitations.

Chatsonic in action šŸ‘‡

Key Features

 • Easy integration with Google Search to access the most up-to-date information online.
 • Pre-built prompt templates to assist in creating diverse content for ads, marketing, e-commerce, and more.
 • It’s easy to generate digital artwork via text-based prompts; describe what you are looking for and get an AI-generated image.
 • Chatsonic supports voice commands, so you don’t need to type everything.
 • Edit, copy, download, and share specific responses or team conversations with your friends via public links.

Pros and Cons

āœ… Chatsonic integrates with Zapier and WordPress.

āœ… Has a free Google Chrome extension.

āœ… Lets you create custom AI templates or choose from 100+ pre-built templates.

āœ… Facilitates text-to-image conversion.

āŒ There is a slight delay in generating responses.

āŒ Comes as a batch purchase; there is no standalone plan for Chatsonic.

Pricing

If you want to get answers from ChatGPT-3.5, Chatsonic’s free for 10,000 words per month.

But if you want GPT-4 to answer your prompts, you’d have to unlock the Small Team plan that costs $19 per month for ~17,000 words.

#6. AskCodi

AskCodi isn’t just a chatbot. It’s a lifesaver for coders. Powered by GPT-3.5 and GPT-4, it’s designed as an AI coding assistant, helping developers automate recurring tasks and enhance code performance.

AskCodi in action šŸ‘‡

 • Get instant HTML and CSS code snippets via simple one-liner prompts using Codi’s Quick Answer tool.
 • Leverage Codi chat, a comprehensive version of Quick Answer, to collaborate and chat with the chatbot on complex code.
 • Lets you translate code snippets from one programming language to another.
 • Use the Autocomplete feature to let AI complete unfinished codes for you.
 • Has a dedicated interactive workspace, Codi Workbook, where coders can explain, document, and write tests for code.

Pros and Cons

āœ… Has a dedicated discord community.

āœ… Has a free-to-use plan.

āœ… Comes with built-in loyalty programs and gamification to earn AskCodi credits without spending money.

āœ… Easy switch between Light and night mode offers a better user experience.

āŒ Limited use cases (best suited for coders and developers only).

Pricing

AskCodi comes with a free forever plan and two paid plans:

 • Premium: $9.99 per month per user
 • Ultimate: $29.99 per month per user

#7. HuggingChat

HuggingChat is a free and open-source alternative to ChatGPT. The platform has almost the same chat interface as ChatGPT.

One thing I think sets HugginChat apart from the rest of the AI chatbots is its humor.

HuggingChat in action šŸ‘‡

Key Features

 • Talk to AI like a human and get reference-backed answers from the AI.
 • Use follow-ups to extend or ask for explanations for previous responses.
 • Enable Search Web to compliment AI responses with real-time information from the web.
 • Store past conversation histories and edit or reopen them for reference.
 • It’s easy to copy-paste one-off responses or share full conversations via public URLs.

Pros and Cons

āœ… Free and open-source AI chatbot.

āœ… Delivers responses with linked sources, improving factual accuracy.

āœ… Offers light and dark modes for seamless user experience.

āŒ You can’t upload files for analysis.

Pricing

HuggingChat is a free-to-use ChatGPT alternative.

#8. Pi AI

Pi is more like a friendly assistant with whom you can discuss habits and hobbies other than professional talk. The same is reflected through its interface – clean and modern with minimalistic features.

Pi in action šŸ‘‡

Key Features

 • Like other AI chatbots, Pi is also trained on LLMs (large language models) and answers queries quickly.
 • It can surf the internet and provide real-time information on the latest trending news and topics.
 • Has a built-in AI-powered voice assistant that can read the responses aloud in 6 different voices.
 • Achieve personal growth with Pi’s pre-set conversational AI models trained for talks like meditation, brainstorming, relationship advice, career plans, philosophy, and more.

Pros and Cons

āœ… Has an easy-to-use interface.

āœ… Easily share individual or multiple responses via shareable links.

āœ… Has pre-trained conversational AI models to help with self-improvement.

āŒ It has no options to upload files.

āŒ You must create an account to see and save conversation history.

Pricing

Pi Ai is a free-to-use tool for now. However, it has just launched the first version, so I don’t know if it will remain free over time.

#9. Poe

Poe, short for Platform for Open Exploration (Poe), is a chatbot launched by Quora.

The platform hosts over 20+ AI tools developed by different companies. The ability to select between different chatbots makes Quora’s Poe a powerful and a must-try tool.

That’s why we’ve curated a list of the 10 best AI marketing tools you should have in 2023. Businesses can confidently make data-driven decisions using these tools, leading to impressive outcomes.

What are the best AI marketing tools?

#1 Team-GPT

Team-GPT: Collaborate in ChatGPT

Team-GPT enables teams to collaborate using OpenAI’s ChatGPT. by resolving one of ChatGPT’s biggest limitations—lack of collaboration. In ChatGPT, users engage in one-on-one conversations with the AI, while in Team-GPT, the whole team gets

onboarded together. This powerful tool provides a shared workspace where team members can work together in real time using the latest models (GPT-4).

Besides enhancing collaborative teamwork with the power of AI, Team-GPT also addresses some common issues teams may face, such as:

 • Chat organization and labeling: Team members store their best chats in folders and subfolders. This helps the whole team find the best interactions faster and accelerates adoption.
 • Learning AI together: Practice makes perfect, and Team-GPT enables teams to improve their AI skills. There are 100s of default examples, tips and tricks, and (even) online courses that Team-GPT provides to its users. But the best part is that people on the team share knowledge and learn from each other’s experiences.
 • Adoption reports: The best way to ensure your team is getting value from ChatGPT is… to make sure they talk to it. Through the adoption reports, teams can stay on top of the early adopters and nudge laggards to adopt the technology faster.
Adoption reports in Team-GPT keep you on top of team usage

Now, let’s dive deep into what makes Team-GPT such an excellent tool for AI marketing and what benefits your team gets from using it.

Team-GPT’s best features

Think of Team-GPT as a virtual office running on AI. Here’s a breakdown of some of its key features:

Collaboration

With Team-GPT, teams work seamlessly and effectively using ChatGPT’s models. The latest models are always available, sometimes even before those in ChatGPT Plus.

Team-GPT provides an AI-powered shared workspace, enabling team members to build a knowledge hub, share prompts, and learn ChatGPT as a group, and give feedback on tasks, all leading to improved results.

Organization

Reduce clutter and organize knowledge
Most chats are trash… but not all. Categorize the good ones, order them in folders and subfolders, and reduce clutter. A well organized ChatGPT workspace, enhances accessibility, knowledge sharing and team collaboration.

The bigger the team, the harder it is to keep track of everything. With Team-GPT, though, keeping things tidy is a no-brainer. You can:

 • Create clutter-free communication
 • Organize chats in folders
 • Keep multiple conversations private (and separate)

But this goes even deeper. On the level of a single conversation, you can also:

 • Fork (duplicate) a chat from a certain point in time
 • Delete any irrelevant content or messages, so you don’t confuse the AI
 • Create shareable links for others to join in on workflows

With these features, your team gets to focus on what’s important, increasing overall productivity and improving the quality of their collaborative efforts.

šŸ’” Pro tip

Team-GPT can help your team learn from each other. You simply need 1 ChatGPT evangelist to light up the curiosity of the whole team. See how others have implemented it.

AI-powered learning

Team-GPT also serves as an AI learning platform, enabling your team members to improve their AI skills by working with ChatGPT. Its Prompt Library feature contains over 100 unique prompts, carefully chosen by the Team-GPT team, helping teams develop unique and creative ideas for work. Or even better—use predefined prompts that just work!

It also encourages documentation. Worked for 10 mins to craft the perfect prompt? Save it to the library, so you or your teammates can reuse it later! Building your own prompt library will reduce repetitive tasks and foster a best-practice culture so your team can simplify their work activities into efficient, result-oriented processes.

Pricing

Team-GPT offers three pricing plans: Free, Pro, and Business.

 • Free: $0 (up to 2 members per team)
 • Pro: $20 per month (covers 3-to-100-member teams)
