Perplexity Web browsing

Web browsing is back! You can now search and interact with web content without leaving your Team-GPT workspace. Legacy plan users can immediately start browsing by adding their Perplexity API key. 

This feature will soon be available to all users on a usage-included plan.

New task view in Projects

This is a new way to track work in Team-GPT! You can now turn your chats inside a Project into trackable tasks that your team can work on together.

Switch between chat and task views, and mark items as ‘Done’ when complete.

Pages: Better writing experience

Writing is smoother with improved autocomplete. Choose between different suggestions as you type, or turn it off when you prefer to write freely.

Team invites management

Managing workspace invitations is easier. The improved members menu shows you who hasn’t joined your workspace yet, lets you check pending invites, and resend invitations with a single click if someone missed the original email.

New look for Private chats

Your private space has a new, distinctive blue theme. No more confusion – this visual cue helps you instantly recognize when you’re working with your private content, whether it’s chats, images, or folders.

Easier chat creation

Chat creation is easier and more intuitive:

• When in a Project, the ‘New chat’ button automatically assigns the chat to that Project.
• If you’re not in a specific Project, new chats are stored in your Recent Chats under the ‘Recent’ section.
• The ‘New chat’ button now features a dropdown menu for quick access to create new Projects, generate images, and start private chats.

Better file handling with Claude 3.5 Sonnet

We integrated Claude’s native PDF support, significantly improving PDF processing with better performance and accuracy. Next time you chat with files in Team-GPT, try using Claude 3.5 Sonnet.

Navigation and performance

• Improvements to the File upload capability are underway – we’re testing new strategies
• The Search function moved to the left sidebar (still accessible with Cmd/Ctrl + K)
• Refined platform usability with various UI/UX changes
• Added ’log out’ option to the ‘No workspaces’ screen
• Temporarily removed the web browsing toggle (it will return as a new feature soon!)

Bug fixes

• Files/images now appear next to user messages during generation
• Prevented duplicate file uploads

Here’s what you’ll find inside:

  Your top-level folders are now called Projects. Simply click on any Project to explore its contents in the main area — no more crowded sidebar!
• Dedicated Space for the Quick Chats and Images
  All your chats and images now have dedicated spaces. Look for “Chats” and “Images” in the sidebar to quickly access items that aren’t part of a Project.
• Powerful Filters
  Finding specific content is now faster. Use the new filters to search by participants or date range across all views.
• Breadcrumbs to Navigate More Easily
  Work inside a project and have the peace of mind that you’re creating in the right place at all times.

It allows you to integrate documents directly into Team-GPT. You are able to use PDFs, Word files, and images as context, and analyze content across multiple files to:

It’s officially started.

1,000 workspaces and their users have been selected and given early access to Team-GPT 2.0.

The 2.0 upgrade is making its way to users 🙇

Here’s some backstory…

Team-GPT came into the world a bit over a year ago. In its early stages, it was an experiment…that worked!

This month, we hit 45k users.

Throughout this journey, we have reviewed thousands of feedback forms and support tickets. We talked to users and listened to their needs. Your input, combined with our enthusiasm, drove us to continuously iterate and introduce new advanced functionalities.

And so, we made a major upgrade of the entire system, to write it properly and prepare for scaling and faster innovation.

Recently, around a 150 users joined the Team-GPT 2.0 Technical Preview and were the first to explore the new Team-GPT experience.

They engaged with the core capabilities of the 2.0 upgrade, tested, observed, and shared their feedback and ideas. We met with some of them online, and we talked about their observations at large.

We gathered the feedback and identified more areas for improvement – some things are already implemented, some need just a bit more time to ripen in our minds.

Now, we are kicking off our Private Beta, and welcoming more than 5000 users into Team-GPT 2.0.

We’re eager to hear what you love and where we can improve even further. In the meantime, we are gearing up for a general access rollout very soon.

Which workspaces are part of the Private Beta?

Team-GPT still misses some things, so we’re not going to rush into upgrading every workspace immediately. That said, we selected those workspaces where we’re certain we won’t disrupt any user workflows. We’re working to allow general access to the upgrade soon!

What’s new?

Multiple Models in Chat

All workspace members will have the capability to use different LLMs simultaneously. Additionally, users will be able to switch between models for each chat message.

Folder Permissions

You will have complete control over access to a folder and its contents. Permissions can be set to private, view-only, or full access for the team.

Custom Instructions Library

Team-GPT 2.0 comes with a dedicated library for users to create and reuse different instructions on-demand.

Google Gemini Integration
